Why we started this

Everyone has a pool guy story

Usually it's about the weeks they didn't turn up.

How it usually goes

  • They skip a week and don't tell you.
  • You get a bill and no idea what was done.
  • It's green again a fortnight later.
  • Something breaks and nobody rings back.

How we do it

  • Same day every visit, and you know when.
  • Photos and a note on what we found.
  • Balanced properly, not just topped up.
  • Every answer is five minutes away.

On call. On time. On the tools.

In writing

Four promises with a price on them

Anyone can say they turn up. These are the ones we put a remedy against, so it costs us something when we get it wrong.

  1. 01

We turn up when we said

You get a three-hour window, not a vague day. If we are going to miss it, you hear from us before the window starts.

If we get it wrong: Turn up outside your window without that call, and your next visit is half price.

  2. 02

We do not quietly skip a visit

Your pool has a scheduled visit and we keep it. No silent gaps, no invoice for a week we were not there.

If we get it wrong: If we do miss one, we are back within two business days.

  3. 03

The same person looks after your pool

One pool specialist takes your pool on and manages it. You are not sent whoever happens to be free that week, and you are not explaining your gate code to a new face every visit.

If we get it wrong: On the rare visit they cannot make, you are told who is coming before they arrive.

  4. 04

You can see what we did

Every visit you get your water readings written down, a photo of the pool, and a note on anything we found.

  5. 05

Nothing gets replaced on our say-so

If we think a part needs replacing, you get photos of the actual part and an explanation of what we are looking at, before there is a quote. You should not have to take our word for it on something you cannot see.

If we get it wrong: No photos and no explanation means no replacement. Ask us for them and the job stops until you have them.

  6. 06

    The price does not move

Your regular visit is a fixed price. Not an estimate, not a starting point.

If we get it wrong: Nothing gets added to it without us ringing you first and getting a yes.

Each promise runs under its own conditions — what it covers, and when it does not apply. Read the guarantee and its terms in full. This sits on top of the rights you already have under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights cannot be taken away, and nothing here limits them.

Why a pool specialist

Pool people.
Not a general cleaner.

Plenty of outfits will send the same person to do your gutters, your windows and your pool. It's cheaper to run that way. It's also why the water keeps going cloudy and nobody can tell you why.

A pool isn't a cleaning job. It's water chemistry and a pump system, and if you only understand the skimming part you'll be back every fortnight treating the same problem. The person at your gate does pools every day.

That's the whole reason we run this as its own outfit rather than one line on a handyman's list.

What happens

From your call to clear water

Four steps. The same every time.

  1. 015 minutes

    You ring us

A pool specialist rings you back. They ask what the water's doing and book a time.

  2. 02Same week

    We come and look

We test it properly and tell you what's actually wrong — not just what to buy.

  3. 03Same day

    You get a price

Written down, in plain words. One-off job or a regular visit, your call.

  4. 04Every visit

    We keep it right

Tested, balanced, brushed and cleaned. You get a note on what we found each time.

Where we work

All over Sydney

What your pool needs depends on where it sits. Gums overhead, sun all day, salt off the water — each one causes something different. Pick your area.

FAQ

The questions we get asked

How often does a pool actually need servicing?
Most Sydney pools want a visit every fortnight through summer and monthly over winter. Under heavy trees, or in full sun out west, fortnightly all year is closer to the mark. We'll tell you what yours needs after we've seen it — and if monthly is genuinely enough, we'll say so.
My pool's gone green. Can you fix it without draining it?
Almost always, yes. Draining a pool is a last resort and it carries real risk — an empty shell can lift or crack. We balance the water first so the chlorine can actually work, then shock, filter hard and vacuum out the dead algae. Most pools are swimmable again within a few days.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get to the pool and you've told us about gates, dogs and alarms. You'll get a note and photos after every visit, so you know exactly what was done whether you were there or not.
Can the price change once you've started?
Not without asking you first. Regular servicing is a fixed price per visit. If we find something that needs fixing — a failing pump, a leak — we stop and ring you with a number before we touch it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're fully insured, our crews are police-checked, and we work to pool-safety requirements around fencing and gates. You shouldn't have to check any of that yourself.
Do you only do pools?
Pools are all we do here, and that's the point — the person at your gate does pools every day. We're part of The Trade Brigade, so if you need a roof or gutters done we can point you in the right direction, but this crew is pool people.

Let's have a look at it

Ring us or send it through. A real person picks it up, not a call centre.
